It’s true. Two of the world’s foremost taste-makers are giving Radio Happy Hour the thumbs up.

Over at MNartists writer David Doody says, “murder has never sounded so funny.” Which may sound odd out of context, but I assure you, it’s a compliment. You can read the full article here.

As if that wasn’t a big enough endorsement, Kanye West is also saying some great things about Radio Happy Hour. In a recent appearance on Mtv he can be heard saying, “Imma [watch every episode of Radio Happy Hour to the] finish. [That show is] one of the best [shows] of all time.”

We’re currently trying to reach Kanye for some more praise, but he’s not returning my calls anymore. Not sure what that’s about. Kanye? What gives?

Buy Tickets Here. Tunde is bringing a friend to assist him in his music making. We will talk about stuff, like Pittsburgh (how could you not want to watch two grown men talk about Pittsburgh). A quick internet search with the keyword “Pittsburgh” yielded the following terrifying image. Piracy is a very timely issue, and I had no idea that it’s foul reach extended to the shores of Pittsburgh. Tunde and I will discuss.

Tunde may have insight into the pirate problem in Pittsburgh.

Kumail Nanjiani will also be there – this is a huge show. We’ll talk about Michael and Michael Have Issues, and what he does under Colbert’s desk.

And he comes from Chicago? Where is that, anyway?

Thoughts of Tunde at the Gaylord

Gaylord.

Two weeks from tomorrow I’ll be at (Le) Poisson Rouge with Tunde Adebimpe, who is, as you know, from TV on the Radio. Today, however, I’m sitting in the atrium at the Gaylord Hotel in Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. The Gaylord is a giant hotel – so so many rooms – underneath a giant, very tall, canopy of glass. There’s a little city under this canopy, with a sportsbar. That’s where I’ll go later to learn about sport.

For now, I’m writing the October script for Radio Happy Hour Presents, in which Tunde has left the music business to start a wilderness camp for “ineffectual” men.

That’s what gets written at the Gaylord.

Come see the show. Santosh – the winner of the last quiz – will be there high fiving everyone. I love that guy.

If Tunde were at the Gaylord, he wouldn't need an umbrella.
